All three adult teams pick up points

O Neills LFA Junior Cup Second Round
Tombrack United  4  Kilmore United  0
The lads are through to the last sixty four of the LFA Junior Cup after this 4-0 win over Premier side Kilmore United in Ballyboy on Sunday morning with a home game against Curracloe the reward. Even though there was a four goal margin at the end, Tombrack had to work very hard for this win and keeper Jason Maguire had to make a couple of vital saves at various points in the game. However, goals from Bob Newe, Darragh Hendrick, John Coleman and Jamie Walsh saw our lads progress to the third round for the first time ever

Wexford Football League Division Four A
Tombrack United  1  St Josephs  1
Our mens second team will feel disappointed to have drawn this match after being in control and leading 1-0 for over an hour. The game began evenly enough but it was Tombrack who took control on twenty eight minutes when a Kevin Kenny shot was well saved by the keeper but John Kavanagh was on hand to force the ball into the net. The lads looked to be heading for the three points until disaster struck two minutes from the end when a corner went straight to the net to give St Josephs a point

Wexford Women's League Division Three
Bridge Rovers  0  Tombrack United  5
The women moved into second on their own after a strong second half performance saw them see off a hard working young Bridge Rovers side. In a scrappy first half, Tombrack had to work hard to keep the home side at bay and managed to score when Sarah Merrigan found space on the edge of the box to slot past the keeper. Tombrack were much more dominanat in the second half and Sarah Merrigan scored a penalty after Tammy Hennessy had been taken down by the keeper and this was followed ten minutes later when Mary Boland slotted home. Tia Byrne scored a free kick before Sarah completed her hat trick fifteen minutes from time. This win moves the women clear in second place, three points behind leaders Stoney with a game in hand

Squad: Ashling Kavanagh, Mary Martin (Shannon McGovern), Lauren Byrne, Eimear Whelan, Tia Byrne, Mary Boland, Sarah Merrigan, Marie Allen, Kelli Maguire, Leanne Kenny (Katie O Toole), Tammy Hennessy (Sharon Walsh)
