Underage results for 19/11/2016

Under Ten Schoolgirls North Division
Tombrack United  6  Aughrim Rangers  0
Our Under Ten girls rounded off the year top of the North Division, which qualifies them for Division One for the new year, and unbeaten with four wins from their five games. Aughrim Rangers will feel unlucky not to have at least scored as they hit the post twice and brought a couple of good saves from the Tombrack keeper. However, it was our young superstars who ruled the day and ran out 6-0 winners with Mikayla Tobin Cosgrave scoring a hat trick with Emer Roche adding two and Ciara Kenny also finding the net. With the team getting a bye in the first round of the cup, this team wont be back in competitive action until mid January so well done to Martin, Rebecca and all the squad for a great 2016

Under Eleven Schoolboys Division Two A
Tombrack United  3  Bunclody AFC  6
This team continues to produce high scoring encounters with several goals being scored, and as manager Darragh Hendrick commented "unfortunately conceded" as they put in an excellent display against a well organised Bunclody side who proudly sit top of the table with six wins from six games.
Tombrack played some excellent football in this match and will feel unlucky to go down by a three goal margin with Stephen O Toole scoring two with Danny Dreelan also finding the net

Under Thirteen Schoolboys Division Three
Tombrack United  1  Gorey Celtic B  1
Our Under Thirteen boys put in what was arguably their best performance of the season as they led league leaders Gorey Celtic 1-0 deep into injury time until a late late goal from the visitors saw them leave Ballyboy with a very fortunate point. Conor Salt had scored to put Tombrack in front and a hard working display from the whole squad saw them hold on to that lead until Celtic grabbed their equaliser. Tombrack were disappointed to have been so close to an important three points but manager Bob Newe was high in his praise for his players stating "everyone worked very hard and would have deserved the three points but all the players are to be praised for their efforts"

Under Fourteen Schoolgirls Division Two A
Corach Ramblers  1  Tombrack United  7
The Under Fourteen girls moved to third in the league after they made the long journey to Corach Ramblers and came away 7-1 winners. Our girls never allowed the home side to settle in the game and four goals from Nadine Fortune, two from Shauna McGovern and one from Zoe Tobin Cosgrave gave the girls their second win from three games.

Under Fifteen Schoolboys Division Three
Gorey Rangers B  4  Tombrack United  2
The home side went down 7-0 to our lads at the start of the season but got revenge for that defeat when they put a severe dent in our lads title hopes with a 4-2 win in Gorey. Harry Fitzgibbon scored both goals for Tombrack but it was not enough against a much improved Rangers side who have now joined Kilmore and our lads in the battle for the title

Youths Division Four
Tombrack United  3  Wexford Albion  3
These two sides met for the second time in a month and both games have ended in a draw and keeps both sides in contention for the title. Our Youths are still unbeaten but this is their third draw of their five games which could prove costly although the division is proving to be very competitive. Jack Kehoe scored two in this game with Niall Maher also getting his name on the scoresheet
