Under Ten Schoolboys
Enniscorthy Town v Tombrack United
The Under Ten boys were in Enniscorthy this morning and continued their development with an exciting match against the home side. Manager Darragh Hendrick was delighted with the performance where the lads produced some skilful passing football despite the difficult weather conditions
Under Ten Schoolgirls Division One
Tombrack United 2 Ferns United 0
Our Under Ten girls remain unbeaten and joint top of the league after they came out on top in this local derby against Ferns in a game where both sides produced some excellent passing football. A goal just before half time from Mikayla Tobin Cosgrave and one early in the second half from Megan Hayes gave our youngest girls team an important three points
Under Twelve Schoolboys Division Three
Cushinstown AFC 0 Tombrack United 11
Our Under Eleven boys remain in contention for the league after they comfortably overcame a young Cushinstown side, taking control of the game early on and keeping on top all the way through. Conor Dillon scored a hat trick with Nathan Kelly and Stephen O Toole adding two each while Robert McCrea, Danny Dreelan, Patrick Murphy and Daire Moynihan all scored one each. This win keeps the lads in contention with some big games coming up in the next few months
Under Fourteen Schoolgirls Division Two B
Tombrack United 0 Seaview United 1
In a game where defences dominated, chances were kept to an absolute minimum and as the game progressed, it looked like a scoreless draw was on the cards until a goal two minutes from time gave Seaview all three points. Both sides effectively cancelled each other out with Amy Tobin Cosgrave, Shauna McGovern and Paulina Farynik all standing out for the home side
Under Eighteen Girls Seven's
Wexford Celtic 0 Tombrack United 3
Both these sides were gravely under strength but it was our girls who took control of the game and came away with a three points that moves them right back into contention for the league title. Our girls were always in control and led 2-0 at half time with the McGovern sisters, Shannon and Shauna both finding the net. Nicola Ryan scored midway through the second half to wrap up the three points and with three games to go, our girls are right back in the mix. Well done to Pat and the seven girls who traveled to Wexford for this game
