Girls Under Ten North Division
Carnew AFC 0 Tombrack United 4
Tombrack Under Ten girls made the short trip across the border into Wicklow and opened their season with a win as they overcame Carnew 4-0 with an excellent overall team performance. This was manager Martin Doyle's first game in charge of this squad and was delighted with their performance as they were always comfortably in control. Emer Roche scored one with Mikayla Tobin Cosgrave starting her season with a hat trick and with a good panel of players to select from, this time could have a very interesting season
Squad: Kayla Roche, Emily Doran Doyle, Chloe Byrne, Megan Hayes, Mikayla Tobin Cosrave, Emer Roche, Lily Peacock
Boys Under Thirteen Division Three
Tombrack United 1 Glynn Barntown 3
Despite a decent performance, our Under Thirteen boys were unlucky not to come away from this game with a least a point. Playing in difficult conditions, Tombrack were against a strong wind in the first half but were still unlucky to find themselves 2-0 down at the break. Conor O Toole pulled one back early in the second half and as Tombrack pressed forward, it looked like a draw was a strong possibility until Glynn Barntown broke away to score and wrap up all three points
Boys Under Fifteen Division Three
Enniscorthy United 4 Tombrack United 6
Our Under Fifteen boys made it two wins from two games as they came away from Neil O Sullivan Park with the three points after a ten goal thriller. Josh McMullan celebrated his call up to the Wexford Under Fifteen squad with a hat trick in this match with David Power, Harry Fitzgibbon and Barry O Toole also finding the net. It was frustrating to concede four goals but this time has an array of talent and have now scored 13 goals in two games
