Under Sixteen Girls
Shelburne 3 Tombrack United 7
Our Under Sixteen girls made it two wins from two games when they traveled to Shelburne and came away 7-3 winners at a venue they have not enjoyed great luck in recent years. This season however, they were always in control and two goals each from Nadine Fortune, Becky Connaughton and Kelli Maguire as well as one from Nicola Ryan gave Tombrack an important three points
Under Twelve Boys
Cloughbawn AFC 5 Tombrack United 0
A poor first half performance against bogey side Cloughbawn saw our Under Twelve boys go down 5-0. The home side led 4-0 at the break and a much improved second half performance from Tombrack saw Cloughbawn just score the one goal. The game was much closer than the scoreline might suggest and manager Bob was happy with his teams second half performance
Under Fourteen Boys
Tombrack United 2 Newpark 8
A very strong Newpark side came to Ballyboy and left with the three points after they ran out 8-2 winners. Evan Maher scored a penalty in the first half and also found the net in the second half but Newpark were always in control and look to be a team that will definitely challenging for honours in this division at the end of the season
Under Twelve Girls
Tombrack United 1 New Ross Town 7
Our young Under Twelve girls side found New Ross Town more than a handful and despite a spirited performance went down 7-1.
(waiting on scorer)
