Good Day for Underage Teams

Results for October 1st 2016
Under Ten Boys
St Cormacs v Tombrack United (non competitive)
One of your younger teams travelled to St Cormacs this morning and put in an excellent performance with Jimmy Breen and Eoin Tompkins but playing well in an overall strong team performance

Under Twelve Boys
Tombrack United  1  Forth Celtic B  1
Our Under Twelve Boys came from behind to collect an important point against a well organised Forth Celtic side. The Murrintown side took the lead in the first half but Tombrack battled back in the second half to secure a point when Conor Dillon scored and in the end the lads could have sneaked the win but were happy with a well earned point

Under Fourteen Boys
Gorey Celtic B  1  Tombrack United  7
Our Under Fourteen lads picked up all three wins after they picked up their second win of the season away to Gorey Celtic. William Kenny enjoyed a great game and scored a hat trick with Evan Maher, Conor Salt, Rashid Yasin and new signing Adam Jeffers all finding the net in the 7-1 win. This win brings the lads back up into a challenging position despite losing their first game of the season

Under Sixteen Girls
Tombrack United  5  St Leonards  1
Two goals each from the McGovern sisters Shannon and Shauna set our Under Sixteen girls up for an opening day win in the Premier division. Nadine Fortune also scored as this very strong squad showed their abilities against a very decent St Leonards side and have justified their tag as one of the favourites for the top division
