Under Ten Boys
Ballymurn Celtic v Tombrack United
Our Under Ten boys travelled to Ballymurn and put in a great performance with Eoin Tomkins and Adam Byrne putting good performances
Under Ten Girls Division One
Forth Celtic 0 Tombrack United 8
Our Under Ten girls got their Division One campaign off to a winning start when they overcame Forth Celtic 8-0. Mikayla Tobin Cosgrave continued her good scoring form by scoring five with Megan Hayes scoring the other three
Under Twelve Cup First Round
Fastnet Rovers 5 Tombrack United 1
The Under Twelve boys put in a good performance against a strong Fastnet side who are two divisions ahead of our lads but this game was much closer than the scoreline suggests. Rovers went 3-0 ahead before Tombrack pulled one back through Stephen O Toole and were unlucky not to get back level as they hit the post twice. Tombrack enjoyed most of the possession in the second half and Rovers then scored twice late in the game to win 5-1
Under Fourteen Boys Cup First Round
New Ross Celtic 5 Tombrack United 2
Our Under Fourteen Boys got a tough draw when pitted against unbeaten New Ross Celtic who are top of division two, however, our lads played very well against their high profile opponents before bowing out 5-2. Evan Maher and Conor Salt were the goalscorers for Tombrack
Under Fourteen Girls Division Two B
Gorey Rangers 6 Tombrack United 4
This high scoring game could have went anyway and could have been 10-10 as several chances were created by both sides but it was Rangers who eventually took the three points after a good first half. Nadine Fortune scored a hat trick for Tombrack with Ana Dragussan also finding the net with our girls now in a three way battle for second place
Under Eighteen Girls Seven a Side
Gorey Rangers 1 Tombrack United 3
Our Under Eighteen girls pulled themselves back into the title race in the league after this 3-1 win away to Gorey Rangers. Tombrack were always in control but found themselves a goal down when they conceded a long range goal against the run of play. Our girls continued to dominate the second half and were rewarded when Kelli Maguire scored five minutes in the half before Becky Connaughton made it 2-0 and Kelli scored her second a few minutes from the end to wrap up the points
Under Eighteen Boys Division Four
Camolin Celtic 2 Tombrack United 2
Our Youths missed the opportunity to go joint top of the league when they led 2-0 in this vital league match but conceded two second half goals and had to settle for a point but still well in contention for the title and their faith is still in their own hands. Two goals from John Kavanagh had our lads in front and were in control of the game but too many missed chances proved costly as the home side got back into the game to score twice and earn a point. With three games to go, only three points seperate Camolin (16) Killenagh (14) and Tombrack (13) and our lads have both those teams still to play
